The Delavan 5850-201E is a 5-chamber diaphragm demand pump with Viton valves, Santoprene diaphragm, a 12V DC electric motor and 12" long lead wire. The motor is a 12V DC permanent magnet type, fully enclosed, non-ventilated electric motor. The motor surface should not exceed 180° F. This 8 lb., positive displacement diaphragm pump is self-priming, has 14 feet priming capabilities and can be run dry. Note: It is recommended to use the AA122-1/2-PP Poly Line Strainer to help eliminate contaminates from running through your Demand or Bypass pump. Demand pumps need a balanced flow, so if the nozzle is too small, it may restrict the flow resulting in your Demand pump shutting off. Please note that the Delavan 5850-101E has been changed to the Delavan 5850-201E.
