The Labconco 9000721 WaterPro PS-series water purification system has a flexible dispensing gun and produces Type 1 standard water for use with general lab procedures, organic and inorganic analysis, and life science applications. The system uses deionization, carbon filtration, ultrafiltration (UF), and UV irradiation, and requires a deionization resin cartridge, carbon filter kit, and UF membrane (all sold separately). It has a dual-wavelength (185/254nm) UV lamp for photo-oxidation of feed water that reduces total organic carbon (TOC) levels to less than 10 parts per billion (ppb). An ultrafiltration membrane removes pyrogens from feed water to less than 0.06 Endotoxin Units (EU)/mL. The unit has a 304 stainless steel front panel and a powder-coated steel cabinet. The LED display shows water resistivity in megohms, water temperature, and timed-dispense setting. The system requires potable water pretreated by reverse osmosis, ion exchange, or distillation. It has an inlet water pressure range of up to 100psi. The system replenishes at up to 1.1 liters per minute (LPM) and the dispensed water has up to 18.2 megohm-cm resistivity. A built-in boost pump recirculates treated water to maintain water purity. It accepts 115V, 60Hz input power and has a NEMA 5-15 plug for North America use.
